Poetry
As with the original short stories that I have posted, a number of the poems that appear on this site were written for a college Creative Writing class. Beauty, 3 Men Have Kissed Me, Darkness Waltz, Dream Memory, The Wall, Ode to a Candle Flame, Ode to a Bigger Bathtub, and Wake-Up Call were all written to specifications given in class. Otherwise, I doubt that I would have written them at all.
The other poems on the site are ones that I wrote either while I was in high school or in my freshman year of college. They were written during a mostly depressed point in my life, and most of them reflect that. Of course, if you find any typos please, let me know. Also, since The Wall was written while under the influence of Johnny the Homocidal Maniac I would appreciate it if you let me know if you think the character (Johnny) is a bit off.
