Suicide Note
This is probably my favorite of all of my fan fictions. This one was my brain child, and I thus far, it seems that everyone who has read it enjoys it as much as I enjoy writing it. While watching an old episode of Lupin the Third entitled "Lupin the Target" I was struck, well, practically beaten off the top of the head with an idea for a plot line.
The story starts in Paris, where Lupin has spent a few days locked in a room with only a newspaper article and a news reel of Fujiko's marriage to an English Count to keep him company. Inspector Zenigata is staked out outside Lupin's penthouse, with orders to simply watch Lupin. The orders don't quite sit well, but what sits even worse is the way that Lupin is behaving. Suddenly, as Pops watches, Lupin is raising a gun, taking aim, and firing. When ambulances arrive, the cart the limp body of Lupin out of the penthouse, as Jigen and Goemon flee to England to avenge their fallen friend. Yet, when they arrive nothing is as it seems and the weirdest things are going on.
